TheFamilyPlaces does not require an account, does not sell personal information, does not show ads, and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The app is designed to work with bundled place information and standard Apple system features.
Information We Do Not Collect
TheFamilyPlaces does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, messages, payment information, advertising identifiers, or account credentials from app users.
The app does not create user accounts and does not require sign-in through social networks or other identity providers.
Location Permission
The app may ask for access to your location only when you choose to use map features that show your current position or help orient nearby places. Location access is handled by iOS permission controls.
TheFamilyPlaces does not store your precise location, does not send your location to a TheFamilyPlaces server, and does not link your location to your identity. You can change or revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Search and Place Browsing
Search text, selected filters, and place browsing are used inside the app to display relevant family places. The current version does not transmit this activity to TheFamilyPlaces servers.
Maps and Apple Services
The app uses Apple system frameworks, including MapKit and Core Location, to display maps and location-related controls. Apple may process information needed to provide those operating system services. Apple handles that processing under its own privacy terms and system settings.
External Links and Contact Actions
Some place details may include external website, phone, email, or Apple Maps actions. If you open an external website, make a call, send an email, or open another app, the privacy practices of that service or destination may apply.
Children's Privacy
TheFamilyPlaces is intended as a family utility for parents, guardians, and families. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Sharing
TheFamilyPlaces does not sell user data and does not share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes or when privacy practices need to be clarified. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
